Shown Above: The Maryland Pot. This comes in 3 sizes. Small 6"x6", Medium 7.5"x7.5", and Large 9"x9". From the Guy Wolff Palladian Collection. These pots are handmade, one at a time on a potter's wheel, using porcelaneous white clay, enhanced with a subtle mineral wash patina, and fired to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. The Palladian line takes its name and inspiration from the flowerpots and gardens of houses built in the Palladian architectural style, so popular in 17th century England and 18th century America. The White House, Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, and many other colonial era buildings are examples of the Palladian style. The white clay used for the Guy Wolff Palladian line adds a classic elegance to the historic 18th and 19th century flowerpots styles that have become Guy Wolff's signature.
