I have loved garden furniture for as long as I can remember. It is a bridge between the indoor and outdoor environment. An outdoor room filled with casual outdoor furniture can invite us to experience our connection to nature and all it has to offer and help us enjoy it on a consistent basis. It reminds me of great memories with my own family and friends. Almost every culture in the world has contributed something to the designs that are forgotten, sometimes resurrected in new ways, and the ones that endure. Over the years I have collected antique pieces, transformed garage and yard sale finds into wonderful additions to my decor, helped others select and plan the right pieces for their projects, and created new designs based on my own style preferences.

"Home & Garden Lifestyle" is a phrase that best describes both my professional work and personal interests. I have been involved in real estate sales, development, & marketing management for many years. As a former restaurant company executive, I worked with many design professionals and was responsible for buying indoor and outdoor furnishings for all restaurants nationwide. This experience led me to my own business creating and furnishing outdoor spaces for residential and commercial clients. Sage Garden Style is a creative venture devoted to artisan outdoor furniture of my own design.

I earned my B.A. in English Language and Literature from the University of Missouri Kansas City. This website is devoted to writing about all topics related to garden furniture,knowledge I have accumulated through the years from personal project and professional work and experience. I will be publishing articles to help clarify and demystify the outdoor furniture market, and sharing cutting edge design finds and all that I discover along the way!
